Oral Presentations: Workshop on "Exchange of experiences in water resources management between Europe, China, Africa and Latin America"

Through its global network of Centres of Excellence in Water Science and Technology, this event aimed at exchanging and disseminating good practises in water resources management among experts from Africa(African Union/NEPAD Networks of Water Centres of Excellence), Latin America (RALCEA), China (EU-China plateform) and  Europe (JRC and other experts).

The exchanging and disseminating of good practises in water resources management embraced the following specific objectives:

Watershed management website to be launched: Rivers for Tomorrow

The Nature Conservancy and IBM will launch a free Web site this fall called Rivers for Tomorrow, where watershed managers can map, analyze and share detailed information about the health of local freshwater river basins to inform clean up programs.

Knowledge and Innovation: Implications for ACP Agriculture” in
preparation for the 9th meeting of the Advisory Committee (AC) on
Science and Technology (S&T) for ACP Agricultural and Rural
