Virtual water marketplace soon to be developed

The European Union has recently financed a project called WaterInnEu which aim is to develop a marketplace capable of handling products and knowledge deriving from European projects relating to water and connecting them to users, businesses, and managers who could benefit from their use.
 
Through WaterInnEU, it is hoped that tools, protocols, and data produced by European research can be standardised, provided via open access, and that they are transferred to actors in the water management sector with decision-making power, or that they penetrate into the market

This document serves as an introduction to the criteria for siting sanitation systems in order to reduce the risk of adversely affecting groundwater quality.

The present document aims at providing a broad initial overview to engineering and geological professionals, planning officials, government officials who are involved in the planning and construction of sanitation systems or developing water safety plans (WHO, 2005) or sanitation safety plans.
